Ram 1500 Rebel TRX concept truck is coming to Surrey

The Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel TRX. It's big. It's beautiful. It's got all the bells and whistles, and power you'd ever need in a pickup truck, and it's been confirmed that it's coming to Canada. The Rebel TRX is set to arrive before 2022. Unlike any Dodge Ram 1500 you've seen before in Surrey, this truck will make a truck lover out of anyone and is geared for anyone wanting a reliable, off-road, work and family pickup for the new age. So let's take a look at what makes the Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel TRX so special, and why it's one of the most anticipated trucks consumers have been waiting for.

It's got everything we've come to know and love from the Dodge Ram 1500, and up until now, it's only been a conceptual idea. The Dodge Ram Rebel TRX is something that Ram and Mopar have long thought about. But the question was always - if they build it will they come? The answers YES! YES! YES! So, build it they will.

The Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel TRX boasts some pretty big muscle with a supercharged 6.2-litre Hemi V-8 engine with 575 horsepower. 4 inches of suspension lift with 13 inches of travel at each wheel. Plus a heavy duty eight-speed transmission with console stick and paddle shifters. In Candy Apple Red with 18 layers thick of pain, what's not to love? The Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel TRX is going to change the way consumers not only drive their pickups but how they are built.

Ram 1500 Rebel is Built Like A Dinosaur

We aren't quite sure what the preferred pricing will be for the Dodge Ram Rebel TRX but I will bet it will be as hefty as the vehicle itself, with the base price starting at $51,000 and up. Coming in with 37-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires (two spares in the bed). The Rebel's front axle is the known Ram 1500 axle but stronger, and the truck has larger rotors with six-piston brakes in front, rotors in the back.

Coolest Truck Ever!

While the Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel TRX (stands for Tyrannosaurus Rex) is still a "concept truck" and these features haven't yet been completely confirmed. It's still the coolest looking truck going. With 5 different terrain modes and system built for traction, coil rear suspension shared with the fastest desert off-road trucks and the best 4×4 performance system. Even the interior is something to brag about with six-point harness for each passenger, and paddle shifter to help you stay in control, along with suede seats sure to be a crowd pleaser. The Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel TRX is going to be one sexy truck!

In the Meantime, meet the 2019 Dodge Ram 1500

New grille treatment. 305-hp 3.6-liter V-6 (Pentastar) or a 395-hp 5.7-liter V-8 (Hemi) made with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Fiat Chrysler introduces hybridization feeding a 48-volt lithium-ion battery pack. The 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 has new aerodynamic additions not seen before aimed to improve fuel economy. Active grille shutters and front splitter to lower 2.5 inches at speeds higher than 35 mph, along with a 4×4 off-road package. The new Ram sheds about 100 pounds to make it lighter and faster and implements a new electronic braking system.
